I synchronise whilst connected.
I then disconnect.
When I click on 'My Feeds' I get a list of feeds.
When I click on a feed I get a list of headlines.
When I double click on a headline I get a blank screen.

... why?

I am on WM6.
I don't know how to find which version of Go! I am using, but I downloaded it today.
I am disconnected .
It works fine when I am connected to the internet thru ActiveSync on the desktop... I see content when I click on a headline
I am assuming that Go! downloads the content and caches it locally and that I should be able to read it when I am not connected to the internet.

Thanks for reply

I've got a similar problem. I'm using windows mobile 6 on a mobile phone. I've downloaded Go, and it's picking up the headers from my feeds, but when I click on a header it doesn't open up at all. I just have a list of headers in each folder, not very interesting reading.

Anyone know what I'm doing wring?

Have you tried double clicking?

I don't know if it's a problem or it is a "feature" but I experience the same thing. Not even double clicking gets the content. And since I only have Wifi on my pocketpc (no GSM) it would be nice if I could read more than the headlines travelling across the city
So is there a solution to this?

(I own a Mio P550 with WM5)

I have experimented further and Newsgator does not show me content if I am not connected to the internet. In other words it does not seem to work when I am offline (on the tube etc...). I assume that a news aggregator should be able to show you the content it has already downloaded while you are not connected.

... and by content I don't mean media attached the article. The heirarchy is Feed -> Headline -> Content. When I double click on a headline while I AM connected I get the content. When I am not connected I get a blank screen. I have tried being connected over HSDPA and via ActiveSync and it works when connected through either. If I then cut the connection, I get blank content screens.

To my mind it should not be working like that... so what is wrong?

Using: WM6, HTC Touch

I forgot to add that this is definitely a bug of some description - I used to run this on a Dell Axim and the content of each post was visible when offline.

Same problem here. HTC Touch Dual with Niki Project 6.1 ROM. It's made the client almost useless for me now.

I too would like to jump on the fail bus...
WM6.1 C_Shekhar

And I agree, being able to read RSS offline (ie It's sole purpose) would definitely make this application less of a paperweight!

Just to confirm, have you all got your media AND feeds saved to the same area? Or like me are you sending your feeds to, say, the SD card and the feeds to the /program folder?

Just a thought. Maybe they need to be together, in unholy matrimony.

I just joined the forum because I'm having the same behavior -- when online, post bodies load right away. When offline, I get a white screen. This dude characterizes it very well:

http://forum.newsgator.com/Topic38285-67-1.aspx

I'm going back to Pocket RSS Reader until this gets fixed -- I only need a mobile RSS reader because I want something to do while I'm waiting in line at the store or whatever, and I only have a data connection at home. It looks like this has been a problem for over 2 months -- when will it be fixed?

ETA: ATT 8525 reflashed with stock HTC WM6.0, in case it matters. Clean install to SD card, with Feeds stored in the application folder.
