Hi all,

I'm new to NewsGator so sorry if I ask obvious questions.

I just installed the NewsGator toolbar for internet explorer 7.

Now could you tell me how to subscribe to a feed located in a webpages ?

And how to proceed when there are several of them in the same page please ?

Regards,

When there are RSS feeds on a page, you'll see the "Subscribe" button light up on the toolbar. Click that button, and you'll see a list the feeds that the toolbar found. From there you can preview the feeds and check the ones you want to subscribe to. Then just click "Subscribe".

Thank you for your very detailed explanation.

But I have a little problem because I'm blind and I use a screen reader to read the screen and my screen reader does not see a subscribe button on the toolbar, the only thing I see is a newsgator element... left clicking on it send me to my newsgator account home page and right clicking show me a debug mode option only.

IS this subscribe button a graphical one ?
Could there be a solution to achieve the same task ? (using one of your free tools or anything else)...

Currently the method I use consist in  rightclicking and choosing the subscribe with newsgator option.
But this one seems to have several disadvantages :

- When feeds have no direct link visible on the page it is difficult for me to identify them,
- when theyre are several feeds I don't know the one to subscribe to and how to subscribe to two or more feeds from the same location at once,
- and sometimes I receive the following error message : "Error
An error occured while trying to add this feed.
If this continues, please contact support@newsgator.com
OK"...

What does it mean ?

To conclude, the "normal" use of the toolbar, as you mention in your previous mail seems to be the only workable solution as soon as my screen reader can deal with it of course ...
