From time o time (probably on feed synching) the post content pane blanks out and repaints.

All panes seem to blank out and repaint.

It's very annoying when you re trying to read.

Can't say I've seen anything like that happen. Is it the browser pane that is refreshing? Do you have Internet Explorer set up to do that periodically?

Yes, it's the browser pane. How would I setup IE to do that?

This is noticeable in a heavily loaded machine

You can't do this in IE without a third-party add-on. How long has this problem been going on?

I've been noticing this more in 2.7 but I can't be sure if it started with 2.7.

I've been having performance problems with FeedDemon for a while. 2.7 is better but still eats up all my CPU when synching.
