Hi there,
I currently use a SOCKS proxy at the office for reading feeds/browsing articles in FD but have a direct connection to the Internet at home, i.e., no proxy.
My IBM Thinkpad has a useful tool that switches browser proxy settings automatically when I move between networks and also has the ability to execute batch files etc. when I move.
I was wondering therefore is there a command line parameter/.reg file that I can run to switch the proxy settings inside FeedDemon automatically as well? I often get caught out waiting for a few minutes wondering why FD isn't updating till I realize the proxy settings are messed up.
I use the best feed-reader for Windows .. and love it!

If you tell FeedDemon to use Automatic proxy settings, it will actually use the settings that are in IE - it won't try to autodetect them itself. If your tool changes IE's proxy, it should carry over to FeedDemon.

Ah I see my mistake - I was always using No Proxy or Manual Proxy. I've switched to the Automatic proxy option now.
Thanks for the help
