Restating previous question as it seems it was not very clear, and also dividing into the proper two questions, sorry for confusion.
How do you have read items show visually in some way as “read”.
First, I am using Feeddemon desktop and not connected to the online. When I “mark as read”, the count does drop to 0, and page refreshes, so it is working. However, all the items still show on the screen and there is nothing visually to indicate that they have indeed been read. They are not greyed out, or title underlined or something else to indicate that I have already read them. So next time I look at that folder, I have no way of knowing if these things have been read or not.
This is true for all the Styles.
So my question is, how can I have these read items automatically become greyed out or their titles underlined or in some other way visually indicate that they have been read?
Also, why is there no shortcut button to “mark as read” to put in the toolbar? It seems strange when almost everything else has an option for a button. I am looking here, at the right side Customize, Add/Remove Buttons where the long list.
As mentioned, I know that I can go to View - Views - Unread Folder View, but I do not wished to do that, as then the whole format of the program set-up changes. The whole list of folders then disappears on my left side, and only the list of unread items shows. I prefer to keep my list of all folders in view at all times. All I want is an automatic way to have read items marked as such in some visual way.
Thx very much )
