I don't know if this would be possible but have you guys ever considered adding some type of duplicate entry identification?
As a huge tech head I follow sites like Gizmodo, Engadget, Tech Crunch, Ars Technica, and Kotaku. It isn't uncommon for me to go through tons of duplicates if a major story hits.
Would this kind of feature be possible?

bump +1
i need this for newsgator+feeddemon combo.
i have great number of feeds that are updated - meaning article stays basically the same with few things like comments, views or such changing...
those all get pulled down 5-6 or more times when synchronized with newsgator.
when feeddemon fetches them itself it doesn't download duplicates, so the algorithm for detection of updated articles obviously exists
what i would like is:
- (when syncing) newsgator sends to feeddemon only the most recent version of the article that feeddemon doesn't have
- after article is marked read, drop (mark read) any future update of that article.
