I'm not sure how this has happened...

It might have been a bug from a while back, or something - and now I'm just seeing it, but...

I have a whole bunch of Clippings Folders that I created quite some time ago and they all have a ton of great Clippings that I'd been saving as research material, interesting stuff, and such.

These Clippings Folders range in size from <10 to ~300 Clippings in the largest folder (though most are well under 50) and I have about 30 Clippings Folders.

I've recently discovered that these folders are no longer appearing in NG Online.

This is because somewhere, somehow, on NG if it was syncing or a NG server problem or 'who only knows,' my Clippings Folders are no longer on NG...

--------- EXAMPLE MoveFolder ERROR MESSAGE FROM NNW: -----------
2008-09-05 10:22:02 -0400: MoveFolder: status code: 500 soapFaultCode: soap:Client soapFaultString: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: Can't find folder 6759023
--------- END MoveFolder ERROR MESSAGE FROM NNW ------------------

So I've tried to do all I can through the UI to resolve the problem but the closest I can get is:

Creating a new Clippings Folder(s) - the new Clippings Folder(s) I create I've checked do appear in NG Online.

Then the next thing would be to transfer or move [select, drag+drop onto the new Clippings Folder] all the Clippings from the previous 'broken' Clippings Folder to the new Clippings Folder that is syncing and dancing nicely with NG Online.

However, there's one minor problem I've found with that... and it keeps happening no matter which way I try it! (Trust me I've tried it dozens of different ways and being as patient as possible, waiting, trying and testing again!):

Though in NNW all the Clippings will transfer from folder to folder, when I close NNW and log into NG Online the only Clippings from the Clippings Folder(s) that appear are only the ones that are currently listed (or displayed or can be seen) in the feed that they came from at that time.

So it seems that NNW doesn't really 'push' the Clippings to NG Online, which seems most logical (at least to me at this point - after all I went through).

(I don't even know if that's possible or if you could somehow use NG Archive Service for that or something)
--Just blindly shooting any ideas out there--

I'm not sure if this is a totally bizarre case or if I might be missing something somewhere in the process.

And all of this came about because I just decided that I might want to share some of my clippings.

It seems like I will just be able to share the clippings I get from this point on, but I wanted to just put this out there... whether it might have something in it that might constitute as a bug or some other issue for future development.

However, one really strange thing is that though the 'old' Clippings Folders I created are no longer visible themselves and the Clippings aren't visible the root Clippings Folder in NG Online shows the total count of the missing Clippings (even though they aren't shown as items when you click on the root Clippings Folder... bizarre).

All the best,
Ben VanScoter

Yea, this is turning into a real problem for me. And old clippings keep showing up in the main clippings fulder.
