Hi there,
Firstly, I would like to congratulate everyone involved in this application on a remarkably stable, enjoyable product.
However, I have an issue with the persistence level of items that are read. I pull all my feeds from Newsgator but even though I have specified a global setting of 2 days in the preferences, much older items remain. I have some feeds like digg that post many items every day and I am trying to limit what is being archived. I would like to know if I am going wrong somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind Regards

Unfortunately, it is unlikely that you have your persistence set for 2 days, the setting is keep items for at least 2 days... This means that if they fall of the feed the same day that they are published, they will still hang around for 2 days.
The shortest time you can keep posts is for as long as they are in the feed. For feeds that sync with NewsGator, that is posts from the last 2 weeks, up to a maximum of 200 posts/feed (see this post from our CTO for more details).
