I've been using FeedDemon for several years now, and here are a few observations I've had...
The window title bar should display the current feeds title (similar to a browser)
i.e. "Boing Boing - NewsGator FeedDemon 2.7"
The header of the Newspaper pane should have a fixed position. That way the title of the feed is always clearly visible and more importantly I can easily toggle between reading modes without having to scroll all the way back up to the top of the newspaper to access the buttons for: Full Posts, Summaries, Headlines.
Related to the above suggestion, a way to set the default newspaper style on a feed-by-feed basis. For Delicious I never want to see more than just headlines as there is rarely anything relevant to read and it's quicker to skim in headline mode. For Boing Boing, I always want to read full posts so that would be default view for that feed.

Nick tried this when he first wrote the newspaper, but Flash objects (and a few other things) appear on top of all other elements on the page making it ugly and sometimes difficult to use the header.

You can already do that 
In the feed properties, on the advanced tab, down the bottom left.
Please note that I am not actually employed by NewsGator, and my opinions should not be taken as their official stance on any matter. I'm just a happy FD user (since pre-1.0 alpha in 2003) helping out where I can.

I think this last request is the same as I made yesterday (http://forum.newsgator.com/Topic43462-14-1.aspx) : "It would also be nice if, in the in the newspaper view, the full/summary/ headline options could be toggled by feed or set up as part of an individual feed's properties." This feature is not currently available under "Feed Properties." Regards, Andy.
