Hi,
There are two quirks that come up when exiting NetNewsWire, and I thought I'd point them out so they can be evaluated and hopefully fixed in a future update.
1. Say I have my Persistence settings for Read Items set to 3 days, and I open a feed item that is 4 days old and was previously unread. While reading that item, I realize I have to look something up in Safari. Or I get a phone call and answer it, which brings me to the Phone app. When I return to NetNewsWire, the item I was in the middle of reading has disappeared! Clearly this is due to the persistence settings, but I think it would make sense to not remove an item that was open when the app last exited. So, when NetNewsWire closes, it should remember if an item is currently open, and then not remove that item when the app is opened again.
2. If I'm reading a long item and I'm in the middle of it, and I close NetNewsWire, when I reopen NetNewsWire it brings me to the top of the item I was reading. I wonder how hard it would be to remember where I was in the item, and then return to that same place, instead of having to scroll down again.
Thanks for a great program - this is by far my favorite and most used iPhone app!

| #1 is definitely a bug. #2 is a good idea -- I'll look into it. (Though I'm not sure I have access to the scroll position -- I'm not sure it's possible to remember/reset it.)

I'm sure I've reported #1 before and you didn't say it was a bug at the time, I hit that issue every day
Looking forward to that one
Please note that I am not actually employed by NewsGator, and my opinions should not be taken as their official stance on any matter. I'm just a happy FD user (since pre-1.0 alpha in 2003) helping out where I can.
