Yesterday afternoon I started receiving no error messages when attempting to download my posts via POP3. It basically just prompts me for my username & password continuously. Even after retyping it multiple times, it still isn't working. Help!

It looks like we had a problem with the POP service and authentication.  We're pretty sure it's all cleared up now, but of course let us know if we're wrong.  Even though we never are.

I'm trying to get my NewsGator feeds into my POP3 email client with no success. My email client asks me for the mail server (which I set to pop.services.newsgator.com), my username/password, and the port (which it sets to 110 by default). When I try to connect, I get a lengthy delay, and then the error: "socket error while fetching from pop.services.newsgator.com"

Any advice?

No other problems from other POP sources?  Sounds a little like a connectivity problem.

Can you post your username you're using to connect, so we can check the logs on our side to see if your requests were coming through?
