| Is there a way to automatically delete old items (say, a year or so)? I seem to remember there was but can't find anything in the preferences.

Right-click a feed/folder, left-click on Properties, the Archiving text box on the Settings tab will tell FD how many items to keep. If you apply it to the subscription folder, you will have the option to apply it globally - that's one way.
The other way is the Cleanup Wizard (Tools->Cleanup Wizard) - the second page of the Wizard will let you dictate the cutoff time for posts ("delete posts older than X days")
Edited to add Cleanup Wizard info - hit post instead of preview button by mistake

| I set FD to the keep the items for 1 day. Effectively it deletes the old items but only form the newspaper page. The files downloaded by FeedStation are still in the HD. is it possible to clear automaticaly the files from the HD? in Feedstation, what is the option>general>number of items to retain in history? can be of use the problem described above? thanks Pitulafresca (from Italy)
