to get people started, you might want to have the NewsGator News feed pre-loaded into the install kit.
Just a thought.

It is, for new installs...we don't touch your subscriptions for upgrades.
Did you not see it on a new install?

| Uh, I don't think so. I installed the kit a couple of weeks ago, registered yesterday, and today thought "hey, why isn't that there?" Added it manually. Should NG have complained if I tried to add a feed that it already had?

Yeah, it'll complain if you add a feed it already has...
That's interesting...is it possible you already had a subscription file that didn't include the NG feed before you installed the current version? NewsGator seeds new installations with the NG feed, but only if you don't already have a NG subscription file.

anything's possible, and to be honest I don't recall - that was two weeks and a vacation ago :-) I did have it import my Radio mySubscriptions.opml file, though I don't remember where in the install/setup that happens, so maybe that was the issue. Anyway, if you're already doing it that's a good thing
