Hi,

I have recently installed newsgator on my Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. All is fine except for when i click any link in the post summary or choose 'View Full Post' I am simply directed to www.skweezer.com or www.google.com depending on my settings. It never actual goes to the posts full details

Am i missing something, or are there any issues with compatibility with my device

Many thanks for any advice

I would suspect any problems you're having are due to the fact that the X1 also comes with Opera installed as well as Pocket IE browsers.

When you get to Skweezer or Google homepages which browser is that opening in? Opera or IE?
(Pocket IE should always say it's name in the title bar next to the start button and has a much more conventional WM look and feel)

What happens if you check or uncheck the settings box labeled'Open links w/ Default Browser' in Settings > Web Browsing. Does the behavior or browser being used change for you?

If your view full articles are opening in Opera I'd say you'd likely have a better experience not getting it re-optimised by Skweezer or Google (unless you're on a very restrictive data plan)

The other thing just to ask is which version of NewsGator you're currently running?
Check by going into Settings, then right soft key 'Menu' > 'Current'

Additional Thought: As you're on a high res device you're likely to be having some difficulties with the layout or possibly seeing all of the options check boxes you should be able to see. (See known issues)
If you can't see the 'Open links...' or the Enable/Disable 'Format web pages for mobile' that controls whether pages are attempted to be optimised then try viewing the 'Settings' > 'Web Browser' page in both Landscape and Portrait screen orientations (i.e. with keyboard out and keyboard closed)
