| Everything looks fine until the install asks what to install it to. Only IE checkbox works. What's up?

Any chance you're using a portable version of FF? I don't believe that would work.

This was a problem for me on my new 64 bit system. Run through the install with IE. When you're done, go to c:\program files\Newsgator\NGSubscriber and run the .xpi file in that directory. That should get Firefox loaded as well.
(pretty sure that's the exact directory but yours may differ)

Yes, I'm on Vista 64. I forgot to mention that I'm also getting an error early in the install. "This path is not of a legal form." tiny dialog box with just an OK and no title. After clicking OK, it goes though the install. I just checked IE and there is no toolbar installed.
I just tried turning off UAC. Same prob.

Grab this: http://support.newsgator.com/individual/tools/Test%20Builds/ngtoolbar.xpi
And see if that works.

Oh sorry... open it in FireFox. XPI is the file type of FireFox extensions.
