I logged into NewsGator Online and received a message that NewsGator had recommendations for new feeds to read. I can't find the recommendations ... anyone know how to get back to them? Thanks, Dave

Hmm, shouldn't be doing that. Take a close look - see if the feed that's being recommended has a slightly different URL than the one you're subscribed to; for example, one of them might have a "www" before it, and the other might not. Let us know what you find...thanks!

We do our best to try to eliminate what we think are probably duplicate recommendations. However, we can't be sure we get them all.
For example, I'm subscribed to the PluralSight meta-feed, which gives me people like Keith Brown and Don Box. The recommendation engine will recommend Don Box to me, because it has no way of knowing that I'm already reading Don through a very different URL.

Yea that I understand, it's the http://www.example.invalid / http://example.invalid thing that's tripping it up for me.
Now whilst I realise you can't make assumptions, surely in this www versus no www you could compare and contrast say, the last 5 posts, then realise they're the same feed?
Having said that, microsoft watch isn't on a www type URL, and I'm getting that as a recommendation. Same with Boing Boing and simplegeek and Scott Watermasysk
