| Just installed NewsGator Go on my WM6.1 phone (AT&T Tilt). When I view my feeds it doesn't download the pictures. It just displays a box with a red X where the picture should be. I can't find any settings to tell it to download the pictures. When I "hold-click" the picture and select "show picture" it still doesn't show anything but the red X. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Steve,
Can you check what program version you're currently using via Feeds homepage > 'Menu' > 'Settings' then when on Settings menu > 'Menu' > 'Current'
If it's 2.0.0.25412 then strongly recommend removing and installing v2.1.2.1 from http://forum.newsgator.com/Topic43827-56-1.aspx
Note that article images are never cached on Sync, only item text content for speed.
With v2.1.2.1 program version there are two program behaviors:
1) If there is a current data session on opening an article Newsgator will go off and request any images at time that article opens, so images should appear after short delay
2) If there is no data session running NewsGator will display cached text content only
Note:
Newsgator will never attempt to start a data session itself, just check with the OS whether there is one running already (So if you want images either have opened a page in IE or checked weather before you start reading ;-)
If Windows Mobile says there is an open data connection, but it isn't a valid connection anymore (you've lost reception, connection dropped on network end) then NewsGator will try to download embedded images and fail, putting a red x in them as it uses IE for it's connected rendering of articles so inherits this behavior from Pocket IE
In 'Text Only'/Disconnected view of your articles any embedded images are removed from the flow of the text so you won't even see an empty box where they were.
You can tell which reader mode you're in by whether the article headline is a clickable link or not
Hope that helps,
Alan
