Just wondering out of about 29 subscriptions i have only gotten new post for about 6 of them for the past 3-4 days. som of those comming through as no new post are the AP,CNET,CNN,BetaNews ... Kinda strange all of them not posting for that long. Has anyone else had this lately or should I be looking for something to blame it on?

Thanks, Dan

I personally haven't noticed anything like this...but just for grins, try deleting your http.xml file from

\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\RAI\NewsGator

(Application Data is a hidden directory by default, so you may need to type it in Explorer to see it)

The http.xml file contains information about HTTP cache headers that NewsGator uses; sometimes these headers seem to have problems on the server, and you won't get new versions of files for a couple of days. In all the cases we've seen, this is a server problem rather than a NewsGator problem.

One more thing to check - there is a bug in 1.2 (and earlier) where occasionally your subscription file may become corrupted, and you won't know about it. Close Outlook, and open your subscription file in notepad. If it's all blanks, your file has become corrupted; delete the file, and restart Outlook. Unfortunately, you'll have to re-add your subscriptions if this has happened.

Details on where to find your subscription file are here.

My sincere apologies if this has happened - we're working hard to make sure this is fixed in the next version.

Howdy

NewsGatorSubs.opml is not full of blanks but numbers. So I did not delete it. I did however remove the AP account and then re-added it to my subscriptions and likewise with the FOxNews account. After doing so and retrieving new I was again receiving post from those sites. I would assume for some reason there may be a problem with the opml file. I have opted to unsubscribe and resubscribe one account at a time in order to be able to cut my subscriptions address prior to deleteing(kinda lazy that way)

Please, I have no problem with your product and I am very much pleased with your support of your program. Keep up the great work.
