Hi,
This is most annoying, it does that all the time. I don't want to newsgator, only feeddemon. The KB says disable on properties of folder, but FD 2.7 doesn't have that option on the properties of a folder.
Thank you in advance for your help :-)

Hi Nick,
Thanks for your reply. It happens whenever I startup FD and next every 10 minutes or so. I've added a screenshot for your information.
Appreciate your help

Sure it does. When you right-click the folder and click properties there is a "Synchronize this folder with NewsGator" check box. Uncheck that (don't forget to do it to the root Subscriptions folder as well).

Thanks Critter
The option you mention is greyed out, for root and all folders. I've added a screenshot again.

| This is a strange one, but I believe it's caused by having either synched clippings or synched folders when FD doesn't know your NG login (not sure how that could happen, though). Can you check each of your clippings folders and let me know whether any of them are synched with NG?

I noticed that I am unable to make the "My Clippings" folder un-syncable - and I realize that is probably on purpose due to the following text : "NOTE: This is your root Clippings folder. It is always synchronized with NewsGator". Since I don't want to go through the hassle of testing it, is that setting supposed to go away when all the other folders are set to not synchronize? Because if it is always synchronized with NG no matter what, then that may be where the issue lies - what happens to these people that request all their Newsgator accounts be deleted?

Hi Nick,
Thanks for your reply. Indeed, it seems to be in the clippings. I didn't have any yet, but I did have a root 'My Clippings' folder. I deleted that, and hoppa (that's Dutch ) the attempts to login were gone. I did a 'show root clippings folder' and instantly FD wants to log in to newsgator again. So now I can't use clippings.
The strange thing is: am I the only one with this problem?
