Hi there:

Are there any plans to support the Palm Pre at a later date? Some of us have multiple devices (iPod Touch, Palm Pre, etc) Since the device's OS is based on web standards, it shouldn't be too hard to cook up a NetNewsWire client for the Pre ;-) and it would be a great way to reach a good sized userbase that doesn't have many options as of the moment...

Thanks!

Obviously, we're always looking at other platforms (Pre and Android) and thinking about things. Our outlook at the moment is pretty much to keep paying attention and see what, if anything, makes sense for us.

I should note, though, that just because the WebOS is based on web standards doesn't get us that much: it still would take a significant effort and time. Some types of apps will be easy, but a newsreader is actually almost all about huge amounts of networking, feed parsing, and database access -- which are things that no amount of CSS/HTML coding can handle.

I just wanted to add my support for you supporting the Pre. I moved from Windows Mobile to the Pre just this month. Thanks!
