NetNewsWire for iPhone sucks! It takes me for clicks to do what I do in one click on m.newsgator.com....

I can now see and clear out my feeds, but when I clip it doesn't seem to sync to my Clippings on the server. I'm stuck using the app for now ... please advise and update.

Like other users, I have tried the iphone native app, and after using it for a week - I definitely want to restart using the mobile web version. The only reason I tried using the native app was because of the problems related to rss items all being set to read even if I've only read the first page of 20 items.

I checked today and the mobile html version is still broken (I use iphone v3.0 - I think the problem started at the same time as upgrade?) and the behaviour is the same i.e. although there are more than 20 items shown, after reading the first page, all items are marked as read - this is very frustrating.

Please - is there any chance that this will be fixed in the near future?

Thanks

I think this is completely scandalous how NewsGator is NOT fixing the mobile web version issue. I know, I know, Newsgator is free and we shouldn't complain... BS!

NewsGator should understand that it's not the only company offering free RSS reader. Fixing the mobile web version would take a few hours and still it won't do it.

You know what? Screw this! I'm going to use Google reader from now on and I invite all of you to do the same

I think newsgator are missing something here... the online application does not requiring syncing, its more generic - hence a larger mobile market, and with HTML5, you can get offline storage too... If I was in their shoes I would concentrate on getting the web version top-notch... the iphone application is fine for now, but I don't think it will match the characteristics of the web app and in the future, with more different mobile devices, it will become less important...

anywhere thats my 2 cents on the issue...

I cant believe how newsgator is avoiding the issue. I've noticed that the web based version is also having issues lately. It keeps showing me the same news items even though I delete them. Alright, time to switch to google reader.

The Clipping feature is now functional using m.newsgator.com. Let me know if anyone encounters issues with this feature.
