The time zone is ignored since your new architecture. For example, in NewsGator Email Edition, a feed with original pubDate:
Wed, 24 Jun 2009 12:55:31 +0200
is treated as
Wed, 24 Jun 2009 12:55:31 -0600
Which means:
12:55:31 -0600 = 20:55:31 +0200
Which is 8 hours into the future. So I get e-mail send 8 hours into the feature. A transparent handling of the original pubDate would be very nice! And less annoying.
