I am getting no results in my smart feed searches that I set up over the past week. They are all under the "My Feeds" folder but they do sit in a subfolder and I'm curious if my smart feeds are being searched by everything under just that subfolder or under the "My Feeds" folder that holds probably 20 different subfolders.
Here are a few examples of my smart feed searches:
NewsGator: Keyword search for (Beverly AND Hospital) NEAR Lawsuit OR Lawsuits OR Crime OR Arrest OR Arrests OR Settlement OR Settlements OR Illegal OR Accident OR Litigation OR Death OR Deaths OR Violation OR Violations OR Pornography NEAR CEO OR Presiden
NewsGator: Keyword search for Kindred NEAR Health AND Lawsuit OR Lawsuits OR Crime OR Arrest OR Arrests OR Settlement OR Settlements OR Illegal OR Accident OR Litigation OR Death OR Deaths OR violation OR violations OR Pornography NEAR CEO OR President
NewsGator: Keyword search for Lowell AND General NEAR Lawsuit OR Lawsuits OR Crime OR Arrest OR Arrests OR Settlement OR Settlements OR Illegal OR Accident OR Litigation OR Death OR Deaths OR Violation OR Violations OR Pornography NEAR CEO OR President
NewsGator: Keyword search for (Rockport AND Music) NEAR CEO OR President
Any help or assistance would be much appreciated as to why I am not receiving any results from my smart feed searches along with an answer to my question about am I receiving just the articles listed in the subfolder or is it searching the entire "my feeds" folders.
Thank you in advance,jmonahan

Hi Joe,
The problem is that your queries are not valid. You cannot have a NEAR operator chained together with an AND operator or a group. For example:
(Rockport AND Music) NEAR CEO
is not valid. You can chain together NEAR operators though, which may be what you're looking for. For example:
Rockport NEAR Music NEAR CEO
is valid, and will find instance where all three words are near each other.
Additionally, I don't think most of those queries will get you what you want. OR is the lowest precedence operator so most of those queries are very broad. eg,
Rockport NEAR Music NEAR CEO OR President
will get you things about Rockport Music CEO OR anything about a president. So you'll probably get lots of articles about Barack Obama. What you probably want is something more like:
Rockport ~ Music AND (CEO OR President)

Brian,I have set my smart feeds up the way you have suggested and still nothing. The smart feeds are in a folder with other RSS feeds from various news publications but no articles seem to filter in to the specific smart feeds that I have set up with Boolian searches.
Do you have any other suggestions as to why I am getting no results? Any help would be appreciated!
