I am evaluating RSS readers for a large organization (15,000+ workstations) with the goal of general deployment. In such an environment, redirection of shell folders is a must. they redirect Application Data, but not Local Settings\Application Data. They will not change that policy.
Unfortunately, it appears that FeedDemon stores the user data in Local Setttings\Application Data and it seems impossible to change that location. I cannot find a configuration file nor an setting in the registry.
If that situation is confirmed, I'll unfortunately have to advise my customer towards another product.
Is there any solution for this problem?
Thanks.

the cache location can be changed via File->Manage Cache, though if you're talking that large a deployment, I would seriously suggest you check out NewsGator's Enterprise offering
