| For some reason, when I check the "Remember Me" box at sign in - the Newsgator web reader is not remembering my account on my home computer. It works fine on my laptop computer. So every time I come back to the site, I have to fill in my username and password to log in. No matter how many times I try to check the "Remember Me" box - it doesn't work. Even stranger, on many occasions - Newsgator's web reader will FORGET me in the middle of a session. And so I'll have to log in again, and redo any "Mark as read" clicks or other things that the site 'loses' from the point it forgot that I was online. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks, -Ken

I have successfully used this options on 3 different browsers (FF 3.0.12, IE8 and Chrome) using XP OS and didn't encounter this issue. I've also tried on IE7 using Vista OS and could not replicate the behavior you're experiencing. Please check to make sure you have your cookies enabled for the browser on your home machine and if cookies are enabled determine when they're set to expire.

| I have cookies enabled on my home computer... every other site that I've instructed to remember me is working - so my expectation is that cookies for Newsgator should work correctly. And I've given Newsgator cookies an "Always Allow" setting:
How do I figure out the expiration date for cookies? Heck, where can I find the cookies for IE8? I'll just delete it and start over. -Ken

| I found the folder with all my cookies and I tried deleting all of them to 'start over.' No luck - the "remember me" thing is still not working.

After deleting all my cookies, none of the other websites I use "remembered me." Of course, I deleted the cookies. So after going back to those sites (i.e., LinkedIn.com, Facebook, even this Newsgator forums site) and logging in and telling the site again to 'remember me' -- the site now remembers me. All except the Newsgator News web app... it won't remember me for some reason. -Ken

Provide me your username so I can see if this issue is unique to your account. What browser and OS are you using?
As I stated I have not encountered this problem, nor have any of my colleagues or other users, so the problem seems to be specific to your environment or account then it is to our application.

| I would agree - it seems specific to my home PC and not to the site since it's working fine on my work PC. I am running IE8 on Windows Vista. Thanks! -Ken
