I prefer to have all my RSS feeds in my Outlook 2003, but "right click here to download images" is really killing the joy and making me think of going back to google reader (something I really don't like to do)
Is there any way to have outlook allow downloading all images received via newsgator?
I tried adding sites to safe sites but even with that some sites use remote images, and some sites add images from other proxies, and they still end up getting blocked..
I tried to create rules, by saying if any post has any category, download images automatically, but there is no rule action including "download images" option..

I guess nobody can solve this issue.. I don't understand how could people use it if it forces you to turn off security settings. There has to be a way. I think the best way is newsgator to move all RSS feeds through own servers, and then send to desktop, this way it would be as easy as adding newsgator to trusted domains list.
Otherwise, I will be uninstalling it, sadly.

Personally I use the NewsPage and have no issues with images. I can tell you how to set that up, or you can read about it in the Help.

I know, I love the "news page", and I love the little + all the way at the bottom (I keep only 2 news at the top) and use + for filtering.
But even with that, I would have to click mark as read after reading them, as opposed to going through my "inbox" of feeds by next/previous which marks them as read automatically.
I am really trying hard to keep my RSS on my Outlook 2003, otherwise there are a lot of options on web, but going and signing in and out, etc..

Have you checked in the Trust Center to make sure the Permit settings are correct? There are just so many ways that Outlook can block automatically downloading pictures and this has been an issue with Inbox since day one. Its just hard to pinpoint a common solution for each case.
As for Inbox, development of Inbox has been suspended for close to a year now. Kind of odd to hear from the former lead developer (me) but just being honest. FeedDemon is still actively being developed and may be an alternative if you want to stick with a desktop application. It is also now able to sync with Google Reader so you'll have the web functionality still there if you're away from you desktop.

Thanks Nick,
I think I will try feeddemon and other alternatives out there if I can't get it to load images automatically.
Thanks again for your help.
