How does one go about getting their account canceled/deleted? Username is AndyOgan. Just looking to have everything canceled, shouldn't be any premium account status left or anything.

Same here. I left Google Reader for NewsGator when they added on social networking features, I don't care for ads shoved down my throat with no current option to remove them, and the new version of NetNewsWire collects information on my reading habits turned on by default without even asking me.
I don't care for the direction this company has taken, and I'd like for them not to have one ounce of information remaining on me.

| I also need to delete my Newsgator free account because I am going to use my gmail/google account that is already in place with the new version of FeedDemon. Can someone tell me how to do this??

Uh, UnhappyCustomer, you seem to be under the impression that they can read your mind and know what your NG username is. That little bit of information is needed to facilitate your request.

That's not something I'm really interested in publicly posting. If I didn't use any kind of real username for my name here then why would I just up and post it?
You'd think a place that has a facility for creating user accounts would also offer the same facility to delete user accounts.
I suppose I just got into bed with the wrong kind of place, without doing my research so I'm getting burned.

Then send an email with your username to support@newsgator.com and reference this thread. If you aren't willing to do that, then any "burning" is on your head.

So when I tell you I've done that to no response, then what?
I appreciate what you're doing, but I really need some kind of official response from NewsGator or someone that works for them to get in contact with me.
