echamberland (9/23/2009) Like many people here, I paid about 30$ for NNW not very long before it became free. I didn't mind it at the time, I had chosen to support the developer and thought it was still fair. But I think some sort of preferential treatment for previous paying customers is in order here, when it comes to removing the ads.
I agree!

I understand a paid version is on the way that will not have the ads, but is there some reason this could not have waited until both versions were available so we could gauge the price/benefit and make a decision?

One more name on this list.
News Gator, really? You can't extend an updated key to those who previously paid for version 3?! I wasn't that upset when a month after I paid, the product became free. I figured, hey, more people get to enjoy it now and I helped support a product I appreciate. But now you're trying to get us to open our wallets again? Not likely.
Great way to piss off previously loyal customers.
