old newsgroups disappeared with new newsgator. I went to the preferences menu and clicked "Sync with Google Reader" and put my user information in and all I can see are my google news groups. how do I view my old news groups that I was tracking with Newsgator? I want to see both or migrate my newsgator newsgroups to google reader.

Which application are you using, NetNewsWire or FeedDemon?
