I don't use Newsgator online much, except when I'm away from home sans SO's laptop, but one thing I do use all the time from Newsgator online is the screensaver. I'm wondering if there is a way to set it to read from FeedDemon or Google reader or something. Because I love having my news show up like that. It helps me stay on track of things.
So, any word or idea about transferring it or making a new one?
Thanks,
SARA

Since the NG screensaver is tied to your NGO account, you're out of luck as far as continuing to use it (I haven't heard NG say anything to the contrary, so I think it's a safe assumption).
I searched around a bit and found a few RSS screen savers, but none that tie directly to Google Reader, or FeedDemon. I didn't love any that I found, so I can't really recommend anything.

Yes, the NewsGator Screen Saver will no longer be available for non-enterprise customers and existing installs will no longer work after the API is made private.
