OK, I am an Outlook edition user and signed up for the Business Standard plan since it was free for a year (hey, momma didn't raise no dummy ). Now I find out that my OTHER aggregator, FeedDemon, is being bought out by NG! As part of the deal, FD users are to get a two-year subscription to NGOS. Now, for those of us that have a NGOS account, will this mean that we get an extra two years past the expiration date of our current subscription? Or will it only be extended to two years from the date of our account creation/last renewal?
And yes,Ronnie, this is the same critter as over at Nick's boards

I saw Elvis... and new right away First of all, Nick and Greg are doing a QA here to answer a lot of the questions going on right now. In regards to your direct question, as of yet I am unsure. We are working out all the particulars now. So please be patient and we'll get back to you shortly. Regards, Ronnie a.k.a. Ron

No prob, I just hadn't seen that particular issue addressed in any of the Q&As,FAQs and interviews and wondered if it had been considered. But, I do understand that any merger/buyout can and will take time to be done right. I'm a patient guy

Hate to bump this, but is there any update on what purchasers of BOTH NGOE and FD get - 2 years, or 3 (1 for having purchased NGOE 2, and 2 for purchasing FD 1.5)? My account is only showing one year right now...(actually less than that - I could have sworn it said "expires 6/28/2006" right after the NGOE 2.5 release, now it shows 5/17/2006)

You will see, in your case, that the expiration is set to 5/17/2006 but also there is a 19.95 credit in your account. So basically what's going to happen 5/17/2006 is it is going to take that credit and change to 5/17/2007. So a total of two years. You can view that by going to https://www.newsgator.com/ngs/subscriber/AccountHistory.aspx
