Bryan; I both agree and don't care in equal measure, I'm that disappointed with NNW 2.0 for iPhone. No reflection on Brent intended whatsoever but a product is either ready for release or it isn't. Having used it for a few days it's clear that 2.0 for iPhone isn't.
Whoever pushed for this to be let out of the building will I fear come to regret that decision, commercially speaking. It's not as if there isn't plenty of good quality competition for NNW (iPhone) which all seem to sync with Google Reader and I for one am moving to one of them (Byline).

I have taken a look at some other iPhone RSS readers that sync with google and some address the complaints I have with NNW but bring their own idiosyncrasies which I don't like.
So for the time being I am sticking with NNW mainly in support of Brent and a belief he will sort out all bugs and improve the product now he is not being forced to meet an unrealistic deadline.

I agree with the general sentiment. Brent is a great developer but Newsgator F***** up the creative process by forcing the move to Google Reader before the products were ready for release and also thus forcing end users to upgrade to a buggy product to maintain syncing. Even with its issues I love NNW for Mac. It's NNW for iPhone that's extremely buggy right now, and I am thinking about ditching it for a different Google Reader-compatible reader. I will give Newsgator the benefit of the doubt for now though that an update will be out within the next month or so to make it what it should have been in the first place.
We are with you though Brent!
