I am new to NetNewsWire and wanted to pass along a couple observations/bugs.

1) Compared to Safari's RSS reader, NetNewsWire seems slow to find updates, even when refreshed manually. Would this be impacted by using Google Reader to sync?

2) There is a bug that I have seen reported at least once here, where read items from feeds in a folder will not appear when that folder is selected. It is the by far the most annoying bug I have found .

3) An app behavior that I strongly consider a bug is the ordering of RSS feeds. The system default is new items appear at the top, and there is no way to change this setting globally. Instead a user must change each feed, which is quite a chore for over 100 feeds, and if the user can not do all at once, then it can get quite confusing.

Many thanks for checking these out.

Also, the scroll bar will sometimes not show up when browsing to web sites. It is a semi-regular occurrence.

Thank you for taking the time to read my report.

Please allow me to take a moment to share a personal experience with you --- 8 years ago I was in dreadful shape.

When I found out I had Psoriasis I did not know at first how bad it could be. I thought the itching and the scratching on my back was going to just go away once I started applying the ointment my doctor gave me.

Then I got really scared when my skin started to get those red bumps that would really itch so bad I couldn’t control not scratching, then the spots would dry up & become scaly white, some spots when they peeled had some bleeding.

I absolutely panicked! I remember feeling the fear, all the thoughts that ran through my mind that time: I was sick of some epidemic, I had some kind of grim disease, What if someone put a curse on me? I find it funny now that I understand & conquered my Psoriasis but it definitely wasn’t funny then.

It took a long time going to the doctor because I was terrified to find out what I was actually sick of and because I was ashamed of my skin, but I remember wanting to get healed so badly so I went even if it was just to find out if there was any chance I could get healed.

I was in constant discomfort from the itch, constant pain from the inflamed skin. The ointments stained my clothes I had to put on a shirt under what I was wearing to keep it from blotching.

I had to sleep facedown so that my back didn’t touch any rough surface that often triggers the itching. I couldn’t go swimming, when I did it was always on the beach with a shirt on.

I was so tired of all the visits to the doctors just to find a treatment for the itching. I believe I spent a fortune at that time for all those ointments & creams alone because they really cost a lot.

In my frustration I decided that this had to stop! Psoriasis was going to control me OR I could be free of it!

That was the turning point... from that day I determined to heal myself.

I tried everything… and found a real natural approach that worked for me.

It’s going to work for you too!
