I don't know when or exactly how, but my Clippings have disappeared and I would love to get them back. They were lost in the past month (probably 2–3 weeks), either between reinstalling and restoring my Mac after a couple harddrive failures, or by an update to NNW.
Even though I don't know which caused the loss, it still doesn't make sense that I can't get them as I have 20 days' worth of backups in Time Machine. I've copied the ~/Library/Application Support/NetNewsWire folder, but my Clippings never reappear.
Is something just not 'clicking'? Does a preference file need to be copied maybe? I'm pretty sure I had my Clippings somewhere within the range of my backups...

| Clippings are no longer supported with the new version of NNW that syncs with Google Reader. There's no way to bring them back.

Well, I just had a thought, and I tried it: I downloaded 3.1. Open it up, and voilà — Clippings! I just realized I have 3.2a in my Downloads folder, and it also shows Clippings.
The feature is gone from 3.2b6; and I do not appreciate it, NewsGator, that they were removed without ever warning me — at least with some obvious alert (putting a line in the version update text isn't sufficient for something that's going to disappear and potentially take data with it). I know Reader can't sync the folder, but that doesn't mean I don't want the articles.
There is no Show Clippings in the 3.2b6 View menu, and the toolbar white square with a plus isn't there either. (Both are in 3.2a.)
Nonetheless, thanks for replying in a timely manner as I'm sure these boards get bogged down with lots of people.

That's odd. The update didn't show with Check Updates, though I did update recently, but maybe that got lost in my harddrive mess.
Thanks for the link; and here's to Clippings/ their next implementation!
