It seems like a lot of old feeds that I've already read and marked as read have been reappearing in my feed list lately. It doesn't seem to be any particular feed, but a little bit of everything.

Has anyone else been experiencing this?

It has been happening to me too lately.  Sometimes when a feed gets updated it will show up again, but I have been seeing cases where the entire history of the blog will all appear at once again.  Very annoying!

If there is anyone from inside NewsGator reading these it just happened to me again.  I logged in just now and saw that I had a large number of unread feeds.  When I checked each feed one of them (ThomasHawk's feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/ThomasHawksDigitalConnection) had 50 unread messages though none of them were actually new.  It has happened with other feeds in the past though I will now look to see if it is always with ones coming from feedbburner...

It happened to me again today with Mark Cuban's feed from http://www.blogmaverick.com/  His last 5 posts showed up as unread even though I have definitely read them.  This happens to me every day with some feed and it is quite annoying.  Seems to be a different feed every day...

All - If you are seeing this as a problem please send me a email support@newsgator.com with your username, and the feed url you are seeing this with it would help very much.  please put (Case 31650) in the subject line of the email.

OK... we have just applied a fix for this.  If anyone still sees this problem.  Please let me know what feed its occurring with.

this problem is still happeneing with the custom rss feeds from google news results.

All Google News results?  I'll create a few and check.  If the feeds GUID is changing then we are going to read these posts as new because the author is essentially signing these feeds uniquely each time.
