Is there a way to configure the feeds to sort alphabetically?

Currently the sorting is based of of date received. However there is a feature request to add alphabetic sorting as an option.

Is there a manual sort for the folders? I like alpha inside the folder, but would like better control over the folders themselves

Actual folder sorting is set to only be alpha at this point. Of course you can categorize and create folder hierarchy here, but as far as manual organization nothing as of yet, but I am pretty sure that you will see this feature soon.

This is something you can do in Bloglines...

I've been adding _ or __ to things to move them up accordingly. Not ideal, but it works.
