Hello,

I am a little bit confused with all these feedreader apps floating in the web, I have tried a lot and I still haven't found the optimal soltution. Now it is time to try newsgator.
Can maybe give me some hints on what I need? :

I would like to read my feeds on 3-5 diffreent PCs and 1 Mobile Device (T-Mobile MDA Pro with Windows Mobile 5 OS). On 2 of the PC I will be able to install a newsreader on the other ones I won't. Now what newsgator package do I need for this. I am currently subscribed to Gold.
I want to be able to do the following things:

1.) Read the Feeds in a real newsreader on the machines where I am allowed to install it.
2.) Read the Feeds via the Webinterface on the machines where I can not install a newsreader.
3.) Organizse my Feeds on both. That means:
- When I mark an item as read in the newsreader app it shall be marked as read in the webinterface as well (and of course vice versa).
- When add, delete or rename Folders or Feeds in the newsreader app it the webinterface shall get updated (and of course vice versa).
4.) Read the Feeds on my Mobile Device
5.) Synchronize the unread/read state also when reading on my mobile

So what do I need? What newsgator package is the right one for me. What feedreader app is able to synchronize in the above described way (3.) with newsgator? It would also be cool the the feedreader app wouldn't even allow me to add a feed just locally it always should force synching with the "server".

I hope I am not to confusing ...

The best way to shop our services would be to go here.  Since you are also looking for a desktop reader, then I would steer you towards the Business level subscriptions.  And since you also want to incorporate mobile, then you will want to start at a gold or better package.  So Business Gold or higher, would be my suggestion.  If that is not your setting then you can always change your subscription setting by signing on and going here.  Also, if you are in a free trial period, that trial will continue.

Why do I need the business level? It looks like feeddemon desktop edition (i suppose that is a desktop reader that allows me to do all the synching I described above?) is in consumer level gold too. What of the above described features would I miss when going with consumer gold and not business gold ?

It looks like there is this special offer:
http://www.newsgator.com/ngs/feedDemonUpgradeInfo.aspx

" ALSO, you can now redeem our offer of 2-years FREE NewsGator Business Standard plan (or equivalent service credit). This includes 2-years of FREE FeedDemon upgrades!"

I donwloaded the beta and installed it. Does that mean I upgraded from consumer gold to a 2-years FREE NewsGator Business Standard plan now. And I will get FREE FeedDemon upgrades for 2 years now? Or am I misunderstanding this ?

Your right.  Consumer Gold is just fine.  For some reason I thought you wanted both Outlook Edition and FeedDemon.  Regarding the Two years free.  That offer was given to existing FeedDemon 1.5 who had purchased a previous version and are upgrading by redeeming their old serial number.
