I appreciate the ability to delete items I have read (or claimed to have read )-- by using Ctrl-Cmd-K.
But a few sites reject the command and insist on retaining their items. Two in particular are CNet News and Wired News.
Any way to "persuade" them to play nice?
I have also found that some sites are 'picky' about which keys are used -- Ctrl-Cmd from the left side is more acceptable than Ctrl-Cmd from the right side of the keyboard. Hmmm . . .

| NetNewsWire allows you to delete read items from groups -- but this doesn't delete read items from the feeds themselves. (Which is a source of confusion sometimes, yes.)
